Kudos to LVRJ For Better Statistical Reporting

Frothing Developer takes a lot of bad journalism to task but also likes to highlight when reporters focus on the right things.

Hubble Smith at the Las Vegas Review Journal passed on the GLVAR’s statistics this morning, but he didn’t leave it at that. He also published the Applied Analysis data, which points out that inventory as at the lowest level since February 2007 (actually, what they don’t point out is that if you ignore the seasonal dip during the 2006 holidays, inventory is at the lowest level since early 2006). Hubble also posts an important statistic that Frothing Developer has been focusing on: the number of contingent and pending sales, and he correctly notes that the number has been escalating since the beginning of the year.
